About this scholarship

Female citizens of the United States or Canada who are rising juniors or seniors, or graduate students, enrolled in accredited real estate, business, or finance programs and pursuing commercial real estate careers may apply.

Two $8,000 scholarships are granted annually, one to an outstanding undergraduate and one to a graduate student.

  • Completed signed application
  • Statement of proposed program of study signed by a dean, faculty advisor, or authorized institutional official
  • Official university transcripts
  • Signed statement of intellectual interests, activities/employment, and expected real-estate career (maximum 1,000 words)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Eligibility: female student, U.S. or Canadian citizen, rising junior or above, enrolled/accepted at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. or Canada pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Completed and signed application form
  • A statement of proposed program of study signed by the Dean, Faculty Advisor, or authorized college/university official, including a brief description of courses taken or planned
  • Official copies of transcripts of all university course records certified by the Registrar or authorized official
  • Two letters of recommendation (preferred but not required that one be from a REALTOR or SIOR), sent directly and confidentially to the SIOR Foundation
  • A statement of financial need, if applicable
  • Award up to $8,000, paid directly to the college/university on behalf of the student
  • Statement of financial need is requested if applicable.
