About this scholarship
Graduate students studying in the area of women's studies and gender relations at UBC may qualify. Prizes from an endowment totalling $1,050 are available; per-recipient amounts vary within the pool.
There is no separate application. The Institute for Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice recommends recipients in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
The fund was established by friends and family in memory of Michelle Lynn Rosa (1980-2004), a UBC Honours English graduate who was pursuing an MA in English at McGill at the time of her death.
