About this scholarship

Full-time college students nationwide who are leukemia or lymphoma patients, survivors, or children of a non-surviving leukemia or lymphoma parent may apply for the Michael A. Hunter Memorial Scholarship through the Orange County Community Foundation. Individual awards range from $2,000 to $5,000. A minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrated financial need are required.

Submit physician certification and a 600-word essay with the application by March 13. The fund supports secondary education for those affected by leukemia and lymphoma. Eligible applicants include graduating high school seniors, community college students, and four-year university students.
