About this scholarship

Needs-based families of children with rare or undiagnosed diseases may apply for approximately two Mica Hammond Fund education awards of $1,000 each to support the child or an immediate family member attending an accredited college. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required.

Submit an online application with required documents by April 30. Funds pay tuition directly to the institution, not to the student. The Mica Hammond Fund helps families turn their unique experiences into educational opportunities that can benefit others.
