About this scholarship
U.S. residents accepted into or enrolled full time in wood-related fields such as architecture, forestry, wood science, or vocational programs applicable to the wood flooring industry may apply for the MFMA Academic Scholarship.
Five recipients receive $1,000 each annually. Selection is based on academic achievement, field of study, and essay responses.
Submit a completed application with transcript, a 500-word essay, and an acceptance letter, merged into one PDF file up to 10MB.

- Acceptance letter from a college, university, or trade school indicating field of study
- Optional: list of extracurricular activities, awards, community service, and work experience
- All documents merged into a single PDF, max 10MB
- Eligibility: legal US resident, full-time student, accepted into a wood/architecture/forestry/wood-science or related vocational program
- Application deadline: July 10, 2026 (for 2026–2027 academic year); five $1,000 awards
