MEXT (Monbukagakusho) Japanese Studies Scholarship

Undergraduate university students seeking about one year of study in Japan beginning in October to deepen understanding of Japanese language, culture, and affairs.

Monthly stipend is ¥134,000 (terms subject to change). Application forms are usually available in early January each year; see SFU Study Abroad funding listings and the Japanese embassy or consulate process.
