About this scholarship

Students with a minimum 3.0 GPA pursuing maritime industry or international trade careers may apply for the Merchants Exchange of Portland Scholarship Fund. Open to four-year sophomores through seniors, two-year freshmen and sophomores, graduate students, and USCG-approved course enrollees with a declared maritime-related major or minor.

Award amounts vary. Submit a short online application, certified transcripts, and one recommendation from a professor or supervisor by May 31.

The Merchants Exchange Scholarship Fund supports education in maritime affairs and international trade.
