About this scholarship

Invitation-only first-year applicants to Mercer University's Macon campus compete at Presidential Scholars Weekend for increased merit awards. Awards range up to full tuition per year plus facility-tech fees; limited full-tuition scholarships replace prior merit offers.

Eligible students receive mailed invitations based on a Freshman Index of 3200 or higher. Interview results arrive within three to four weeks after the event. Presidential Scholarships are awarded through an annual competition for the most talented early applicants.
