About this scholarship
Students pursuing an advanced medical degree such as physician, physician assistant, dentist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, or APRN, or undergraduate nursing students currently enrolled in nursing studies, may apply through the Lincoln Community Foundation for the Medical Professional Student Scholarship.
Two to three awards of $2,500 are granted, renewable up to four years with annual renewal applications. Preference goes to female applicants, those pursuing careers as physicians or nurses, and students with financial need.
Apply between December 15 and March 15. Pre-nursing undergraduates are not eligible; applicants must be actively enrolled in nursing studies. The Medical Research Foundation funds the award.
