About this scholarship
Post-secondary students in Canada who have demonstrated academic success, community service, and affiliation with the mining industry may apply for one of two $2,000 MDEC Scholarship Fund awards.
The fund supports students regardless of field of study, as long as they show commitment to education and ties to mining. Applications are due by July 31.
MDEC established the scholarship fund in 2010 to assist students pursuing higher education with a connection to Canada's mining sector.
