About this scholarship

For incoming Level 1 students who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or refugees (protected persons paying domestic fees) entering McMaster for their first baccalaureate undergraduate degree (excluding Mohawk-McMaster and Conestoga-McMaster Nursing) and who demonstrate financial need.

Amounts range from $1,000 to $5,000 (structured amount: up to $5,000). Funding is limited. Apply on AwardSpring by February 19, 2026, 11:59 p.m. ET. The same application is used for general and donor entrance bursaries.
