About this scholarship
Applicants pursuing master's or professional studies who meet McCall MacBain eligibility, and who seek institutional endorsement as current University of Waterloo students or recent graduates, may apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill University. Selection emphasizes community engagement, leadership potential, character, entrepreneurial spirit, and academic strength.
The scholarship covers tuition and fees for the normal duration of the program, a living stipend during academic terms, a one-time relocation grant for moving to Montréal, and French language courses through McGill. Up to 30 full scholarships are offered, along with finalist and regional awards for candidates who distinguish themselves in interviews. Award value varies by outcome.
Applicants create and submit materials through the McCall MacBain online portal by the stated deadline, including reference letters. Waterloo current students and recent graduates must earn institutional endorsement from Waterloo as part of the process.
