McCall MacBain Scholarship

Candidates seeking master's or professional study at McGill who show exceptional character, community engagement, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, and academic strength may apply. Current University of Waterloo students and recent graduates seeking institutional endorsement must submit through the McCall MacBain online portal by the posted deadline; Waterloo notifies endorsement decisions within about three weeks of that deadline.

The scholarship covers tuition and fees for the normal duration of the program, a $2,300 monthly living stipend during academic terms, a one-time relocation grant for moving to Montréal, and beginner-to-advanced French courses at McGill. Up to 30 McCall MacBain Scholarships are offered, plus up to 100 finalist ($10,000) and regional ($5,000) awards for candidates who distinguish themselves in interviews.
