About this scholarship

Entering undergraduate students at Toronto Metropolitan University enrolling in Nursing Advanced Entry, the Post-Diploma Degree Completion Program in Nursing, Midwifery, or Public Health in the Faculty of Community Services may apply. You must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person with a final admission GPA of 3.0 or higher from a previous college diploma or university degree, demonstrated financial need, and full-time enrollment of at least four billing units.

The award provides $8,500 and is renewable if you maintain clear academic standing, a minimum CGPA of 3.0, full-time enrollment, and enrollment in an eligible grant-supported program. Students in the 2.5-year Nursing Advanced Entry program may receive funding for 2.5 years. The McCall MacBain Foundation supports high-potential students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds in community health fields.
