About this scholarship

Students enrolled in and having completed at least one quarter or semester of a postsecondary medical assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, may apply for the Maxine Williams Scholarship.

The award is $1,000 and includes one year of AAMA membership. Selection is based on academic ability and financial need. Submit the completed application, answers to the application questions, official transcripts, financial aid documentation if applicable, and two references (one personal, one from a program director or medical assisting educator).
