Master of Global Surgical Care Entrance Award

Outstanding students entering the UBC Vancouver Master of Global Surgical Care program who intend to practice in an underserved community and (1) hold citizenship or permanent residence in a Least Developed Country or Lower Middle Income Country per the OECD DAC list, or (2) are from a remote or rural setting with limited resources in Canada may be considered for this award. Financial need may be considered.

The award amount varies.

Recipients are recommended by the Department of Surgery in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.
