About this scholarship

Graduate students under faculty supervision in the UBC Food and Resource Economics program may be considered, with preference for students registered in the Master of Food and Resource Economics (MFRE) program. Selection considers academic merit, financial need, and the recipient's contribution or potential contribution to the program.

Awards range from $1,000 up to 70 percent of MFRE tuition fees; amounts vary.

The awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate application.
