About this scholarship
Students born in Cuba or of direct Cuban descent enrolled full-time at an accredited U.S. college or university with at least a 3.5 GPA, leadership experience, and community service may apply for Mas Family Scholarships.
Awards of up to $8,000 per year are based on financial need and may be renewed for up to four years. The program supports both undergraduate and graduate students.
Submit proof of Cuban descent, a personal statement, resume, transcripts, FAFSA or CSS Profile, an essay, and three recommendations by January 31. The Mas Family Scholarships program is the largest scholarship initiative for students of Cuban descent.
