Marvyn Novick Award

Part-time or full-time undergraduate students in Toronto Metropolitan University's Faculty of Community Services may be nominated for strong community engagement tied to areas Marvyn Novick worked on through research or community life.

The award is $1,000. It is by nomination only and requires two letters of support from community members (TMU staff or faculty, or external community leaders).

Marvyn Novick (1940-2016), former dean of the Faculty of Community Services, was a leading social policy thinker in Ontario and Canada, known for work on child poverty, suburban social conditions, employment, and inclusive communities.
