About this scholarship
Washington State community college transfer students of exceptional ability planning to complete a baccalaureate degree at UW Seattle may apply for the Martin Family Foundation Honors Scholarship. Applicants must be Washington residents who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or qualify for in-state tuition through HB 1079 or DACA, and have earned at least 36 community college credits before matriculation.
The renewable award provides $12,000 per year for two to three years at UW Seattle, contingent on admission and matriculation. Selection weighs character, intellectual ability, purpose, and community leadership and service.
