Marion Judith Madsen Memorial Scholarship in Animal Welfare

Open to UBC Vancouver graduate students in the Animal Welfare Program, with preference for candidates studying wildlife and wildlife ecosystems where possible.

Scholarships endowed in memory of Marion Judith Madsen by her husband Gregory P. Madsen support graduate study in animal welfare. Marion volunteered for over ten years caring for orphaned and baby animals for release back to the wild, and this award helps others continue studies to benefit the animals she loved.

Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems. There is no separate student application.
