Mariane LeCompte (Newton) Memorial Award

Brock University Classics majors who have enrolled in CLAS 3M20-3M29 (Study in Mediterranean Lands) may apply. Courses with a significant archaeological fieldwork component, such as excavation or survey, are not eligible. Preference goes to applicants with two or more credits in Latin or Greek. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and meet Ontario residency requirements.

Two biannual awards of $400 each are given on academic merit. Selection is made by the Classics Departmental Committee.
