Margaret Nicoll Pond Memorial Prize in English

Women graduating in English at Dalhousie University, including students registered at both Dalhousie and King's, may receive this prize. One award is available; the amount varies.

It goes to the woman graduating in English with the highest academic standing, measured as the highest GPA in English classes at the 2000 level and beyond. No separate application process is described.

The Pond Prize was endowed by Mr. F.H. Pond of Halifax in memory of his wife, Margaret Nicoll Pond, a teacher of English and a Dalhousie alumna and governor.
