About this scholarship
Female West Island (Montreal) university students continuing post-secondary education may apply for the Margaret Manson Scholarship from the Montreal Lakeshore University Women's Club Scholarship Fund. One $4,000 award is available.
Applicants need high academic standing, full-time university status, financial need, acceptance at a Quebec university, at least one year of West Island residency before applying, and Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status. Submit the application form with a resume, a photocopy of your most recent transcript, and two letters of reference, including one from a current professor.
The scholarship honours Margaret Manson (1922-2000), a founding MLUWC member and the club's first president, whose career included teaching and principalships in West Island schools.
