Margaret Lightbody Prizes

Open to Trent University education students preparing to teach Mathematics. Two prizes are awarded by the School of Education & Professional Learning: one to a Teacher Education Stream student with Mathematics as an elected teaching subject who is continuing into the consecutive BEd, has shown promise as an aspiring math teacher, and has at least a B- average in mathematics courses; and one to a consecutive BEd student preparing to be a qualified Mathematics teacher who has demonstrated exceptional skill, enthusiasm, and promise in classroom teaching.

Established in honour of Margaret Lightbody ('64), a local retired Mathematics teacher.
