Malcolm F McGregor Memorial Scholarship

Outstanding graduate students in the Department of Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies at UBC Vancouver who are focusing on Classics are eligible for these scholarships. Scholarships totalling $6,000 are awarded, with individual amounts varying. There is no separate application; awards are made on the recommendation of the Department, in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

The scholarships honour Malcolm F. McGregor (1910-1989), Professor and Head of what was then UBC's Department of Classics from 1954 to 1975 and winner of the American Philological Association's Charles J. Goodwin Medal. They were endowed by his friends and colleagues.
