About this scholarship
Independent scholars, advanced graduate students, and PhD holders conducting short-term research at the Massachusetts Historical Society on reading and publishing may apply for the Malcolm and Mildred Freiberg Fellowship, one of more than 20 short-term MHS awards.
Most short-term grants provide a $3,000 stipend for four weeks of research between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027.
