Major James H. Rattray, M.C., Scholarship in Geological Sciences or Geological Engineering

Queen's University students in Geological Engineering (Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science) or Geological Sciences (Faculty of Arts and Science) may receive this scholarship based on standing in economic geology. It is tenable by a student registered for graduate work in Geological Sciences at Queen's the following year. The amount varies.

If there is no suitable candidate in a given year, it may be awarded at the Awards Committee's discretion as a fourth-year prize or a third-year scholarship for a student whose program includes economic geology the following year. Aptitude as well as standing is considered.
