About this scholarship
African American high school seniors anywhere in the U.S. who plan to pursue healthcare careers at a two- or four-year college or technical school may apply for the Mae and Mary Legacy Foundation Scholarship.
Award amounts vary annually based on need and merit. Funds may be used for tuition, books, fees, or other school-related expenses. Winners are announced in mid-May.
Submit one PDF through the online portal by March 31 at 11:59 PM EST, including a photo, cover letter, creative resume, one-page personal essay, two recommendations, transcripts, and a college acceptance letter if available.
