About this scholarship

Canadian citizens enrolled full-time in a ministry-approved post-secondary program may apply if they were severely injured, or had a parent, legal guardian, or sibling killed or severely injured, in an impaired-driving crash. Injuries must be catastrophic or severe with a significant life impact; proof of injury and relation to impaired driving is required.

The Louise Joanne Twerdy Leadership Bursary of $10,000 is awarded to one student each year. Application details are on the MADD Canada Youth Bursary Fund page.
