M.J. Gerrow Award for Excellence in Patient Care

For a third-year full-time Collaborative Nursing student at Ontario Tech who demonstrates caring and compassion as a bedside nurse, strong teamwork, safe practice, leadership in nursing, and financial need.

One award of $1,400. Letters of recommendation from Year One and Year Two Clinical Instructors are highly recommended and must be emailed by the instructors to connect@ontariotechu.ca. Apply through Ontario Tech Student Awards and Financial Aid.

The award honors M.J. Gerrow, one of Canada's early nursing administrators, who believed good nurses never lose the art of direct patient care.
