M. Cecil Brownlee Bursary

Open to Calgary Board of Education Grade 10 students completing high school diploma requirements who have earned at least 35 credits in not more than one year with a minimum 70% overall GPA. Programs must include four Grade 10 subjects, two of which are English and Social Studies. Applicants need an official copy of Grade 10 final marks signed by the principal or counsellor, plus demonstrated citizenship through school and community activities.

One $250 bursary is listed. Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement, and citizenship. Apply through the EducationMatters Student Award Application Portal; check with your high school scholarship coordinator.

In 1959, M. Cecil Brownlee established a trust to help deserving CBE students pursue post-secondary education despite financial need.
