About this scholarship

Active, communicant Lutheran students preparing for ministry serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities may apply through Bethesda Lutheran Disability Ministries. Undergraduate juniors and seniors at accredited four-year colleges, seminarians, and post-graduate ministry students are eligible, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Up to 10 awards of up to $3,000 each are offered. Each student may receive the scholarship at most twice.

Applications require a 250 to 350 word essay, four letters of recommendation, documentation of at least 100 hours of service with people with disabilities, and an official transcript.
