About this scholarship
Undergraduate and graduate students majoring in historical anthropology who have maintained an academic average above 3.5 for at least two years may apply for the Lucille Stoeppler Baker Scholarship through Historic Huguenot Street and the Hasbrouck Family Association. The program supports research related to decorative arts, Indigenous history and culture, the African American experience in the Hudson Valley, and Huguenot history and culture. Applicants should show how their studies connect to Historic Huguenot Street's preservation and interpretation work.
One $1,500 award is given each cycle and applied to the upcoming Spring semester.
Submit a completed application form, an official transcript, two letters of recommendation (at least one from a college or university professor), and a statement of goals.
Historic Huguenot Street and the Hasbrouck Family Association offer this award to promote outstanding student research in these topical areas.
