About this scholarship
Open to Canadian students age 17 or older who are beginning or continuing full-time studies at a recognized post-secondary institution. Students who have completed or are in their final years of post-secondary study at the application closing date are not eligible. Applicants are assessed on scholastic record and community volunteer involvement.
Awards of $1,000 each (typically 2 to 6 per year, depending on fund availability). Application materials include an official transcript, proof of acceptance or enrolment, a cover letter and resume, and current letters of reference from employers, teachers, or volunteer organizations. Offered by the Lotus Light Charity Society.

- Submission by postal mail (postmarked on or before May 31) or in-person drop-off only — no email or fax

- Applications must be submitted by postal mail or in person; email and fax are not accepted.
- Scholastic record is assessed.
