About this scholarship
For Alberta residents age 23 or younger who are golfers pursuing full-time post-secondary study (in or outside Alberta). Selection considers academic performance, financial need, volunteer or community participation, and a personal statement. There is no golfing-ability requirement for most Alberta Golf Foundation scholarships.
Two awards of $1,000. Awards may be renewable for up to four years if you reapply and keep meeting the criteria. Apply with the scholarship form, proof of enrolment and transcripts, and two third-party reference letters.

- Letter outlining future objectives and reasons for being considered
- Must be a male or female Albertan golfer 23 years of age or younger pursuing a post-secondary education
- Complete the Alberta Golf Foundation scholarship application form (shared across all AGF scholarships)
- Submit a copy of most recent academic transcript
- Submit proof of enrolment for the current school year
- Two third-party letters of reference, submitted directly to the AGF Scholarship Committee per the reference-letter guidelines
- Submit one professionally taken head-and-shoulder colour photograph (2.5 x 3 inches) for publication
- Application deadline: July 15 (annually); judged on academic performance, financial need, volunteer/community involvement, and relevant work experience
- Renewable annually up to four years; must reapply each year
- Study may be in or outside Alberta.
- Renewable for up to four years only if the recipient reapplies and continues to meet the criteria.
- A professionally taken head-and-shoulder colour photograph is requested for publication.
