About this scholarship
Autistic students attending two-year colleges, life skills or postsecondary programs, or vocational, technical, or trade schools in the United States may apply for OAR's Lisa Higgins Hussman Scholarship. You must be enrolled full time (at least 6 credits) or working toward certification in a specific field, and you cannot hold a bachelor's degree or be pursuing graduate study.
$3,000 awards support students across the autism spectrum who are building job readiness and transition skills.
Complete the online application with demographic information, short essays, proof of enrollment, and two recommendation letters (one from a parent or guardian and one from a non-relative). Proof of diagnosis is required only for finalists.
