About this scholarship
Open to McMaster University students in the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) program who will travel and volunteer in underdeveloped, disadvantaged areas outside Canada and who demonstrate contribution to the betterment of life through special initiatives, as judged by the program. Travel and exchange awards are not available to students in their graduating term.
Four awards of $1,000 each are offered. Selection is made by the program.
Established in 2010 by Hong Eie Wong, B.Eng. (Class of 1982), in honour of his wife.
