About this scholarship

JD students at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University may apply for funding to pursue qualifying unpaid summer work opportunities locally or globally. Projects can relate to equity, diversity and inclusion, access to justice, or legal innovation and entrepreneurship. Some placements are pre-negotiated; others require students to source their own.

Successful candidates receive $5,000 to $10,000 for an 8- to 15-week project between May and August. Each project needs a complete application package, and every participant submits a reflection when the project ends.
