About this scholarship
Sons or daughters (including stepchildren) of a current dues-paying DAR member may apply for the Lillian and Arthur Dunn Scholarship.
Two recipients receive $2,500 per year, renewable for up to four consecutive years with a minimum 3.25 GPA. Outstanding recipients pursuing graduate study may reapply annually for up to four additional years.
Include the mother's DAR national membership number in the application.

- List of extracurricular activities, honors, and scholastic achievements
- Career-objectives statement of 1,000 words or less
- Proof of U.S. citizenship
- Applicant must be a child or step-child of a current dues-paying DAR member; the mother's DAR national membership number must be included in the application
- Most recent copy of high school transcript or college grades (as applicable)
- At least two but no more than four recommendations (from high school or college now attending) conveying ability, work habits, integrity, character, potential, and volunteer activities
- List of extra-curricular activities, honors received, and scholastic achievements (one side of an 8.5 x 11 inch page)
- Must be a U.S. citizen and attend or plan to attend an accredited U.S. college/university
- Must maintain a minimum 3.25 GPA for renewal
- No personal photographs and no handwritten documents (either results in disqualification)
