About this scholarship
Carleton University undergraduate students (full- or part-time) may compete for the best unpublished poem of 50 lines or less.
The award amount varies. Submit through the Department of English Language and Literature's annual poetry competition; student names must not appear on manuscript pages.
Endowed in 1950 by the late Lilian I. Found, convener of the Ottawa Poetry Group and Canadian Poetry Contest in the 1940s.

- An unpublished poem of 50 lines or less, submitted through the Department of English Language and Literature annual poetry competition.
- Manuscript pages must not include the student's name.
- The award is for the best eligible poem.
