Lifetime Adoption Foundation Scholarship
Direct application
About this scholarship
Birth mothers who placed a child for adoption any time after 1990 may apply for college scholarships from the Lifetime Adoption Foundation. The adoption must be legally finalized, and verification from the adoption professional who handled the case is required. Records from before 1990 are difficult to verify, which is why that cutoff applies.
Award amounts and deadlines vary. Funding may be used at community colleges, universities, or trade schools.
Prepare adoption verification from the professional who handled the adoption, complete the College Scholarships for Women application, and submit the required documents.
The foundation offers this help so birth mothers who want to continue their education can set goals and move forward after placement.
