About this scholarship
Graduating Kansas City-area high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA who demonstrate interest in developing their unique potential and using their talents for personal and community well-being may apply for the Life on Purpose Scholarship through the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.
Six scholars receive $10,000 per year, renewable up to four years, for tuition, room and board, books, fees, and experiential learning.
Submit ACT or SAT scores and documentation of your interest in well-being. Apply via gkccf.academicworks.com; applications typically open January 1. Recipients join a cohort with book discussions, virtual meetings, and a summer retreat in Colorado.
