About this scholarship
U.S. or Puerto Rico residents ages 17 to 24 who experienced the death of a parent or legal guardian and plan to attend college, university, or trade school for an undergraduate or graduate degree may apply.
The LIFE Lessons Scholarship Program provides awards in varying amounts to help students pay for education after a family loss. Submit a 500-word essay or a 3-minute video sharing your story during the application window.
The program is administered by Life Happens to support young people who have faced the financial and emotional impact of losing a parent or guardian.
