About this scholarship
Advanced undergraduates or first- or second-year graduate students may apply for SICB's Libbie H. Hyman Memorial Scholarship to fund coursework or research on invertebrates at a marine, freshwater, or terrestrial field station. The grant is intended to support a first meaningful field-station experience. SICB membership is not required.
Award amounts vary depending on annual funding.
Submit a proposal, two letters of recommendation, and transcripts by February 13.
The scholarship honors Libbie H. Hyman, a pioneering American invertebrate zoologist.
