About this scholarship
Georgia students entering or continuing study at an accredited post-secondary institution or certified technical school in a field directly related to the home building industry may apply for the Lewis Cenker Scholarship through their local Home Builders Association.
Award amounts vary based on fund disbursements.
Applicants need at least a B GPA, a career-goals essay tied to home building, tax returns showing financial need, two recommendation letters, and a family member who is a current HBAG or local HBA member. Applications must be signed by the local HBA executive officer and received by March 15.
The Lewis Cenker Scholarship Fund was created in 1977 by the Home Builders Association of Georgia in honor of industry leader Lewis B. Cenker.
