Leonard Wolinsky Israel Study Award

Given annually to one or more York University graduate and/or undergraduate students for one year of full-time study in Jewish Studies at an Israeli university. Preference is given to students who have completed at least one year at York and who are enrolled in the Jewish Teacher Education program.

Recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, residents of Ontario, and demonstrate financial need. The value is variable up to $2,500 based on demonstrated financial need. Applicants submit a statement of purpose, transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and a Student Financial Profile.
