About this scholarship

People of color in their final year of teacher certification or school leadership preparation, including student teaching if applicable, may apply for the AASPA Leon Bradley Scholarship.

Up to two awards of $3,500 each are granted annually to encourage underrepresented candidates entering teaching and school leadership.

Submit the application, unofficial transcript, a letter from your dean of education, a character reference, and your resume to karin@aaspa.org by May 15.

The American Association of School Personnel Administrators established the program so students benefit from diverse educators as role models.
