About this scholarship
Virginia residents in good standing at an accredited Virginia college or university who have completed at least two semesters of undergraduate study may apply for the Virginia Lakes and Watersheds Association Leo Bourassa Scholarship if they study water-resources-related fields such as biology, engineering, environmental science, or hydrology.
Multiple awards ranging from $500 to $3,000 are granted annually, paid directly to the recipient's institution for tuition or fees.
Submit an online application, official transcript, and two recommendation letters by April 1.
Named for VLWA founder Leo Bourassa, the scholarship has supported water resources students since 2001.
