Lenape Scholarship

Incoming NYU undergraduate applicants of any background with demonstrated participation in or engagement with Native American culture and communities may be considered for the Lenape Scholarship. Preference goes to applicants who self-certify as members of the Lenape tribal nation. Award amount is determined with your financial aid offer and varies by need.

Apply through the standard NYU admission and financial aid process. No separate scholarship application is required. Provide a statement or documentation describing your cultural involvement when prompted.

The scholarship honors the Lenape people on whose ancestral lands NYU's founding campus stands.
